We are seeking a passionate Deep Learning & Computer Vision Engineer to help push the boundaries of real-time edge AI and intelligent 3D representation.

Role Overview:

Step into the role of Deep Learning & Computer Vision Engineer at Tyndall FX, where you’ll be at the heart of our product development. Utilize your expertise in embedded AI and computer vision to pioneer innovative solutions and ensure successful product launches.

You’ll enhance the Terramind FX pipeline by integrating intelligent insights into the 3D representations, enabling real-time decision-making and interactive AI-driven environments.

You’ll work alongside a team of experts in Machine Learning, Computer Vision, 3D Graphics, and mobile Software and be part of a team that thrives on turning disruptive ideas into industry-changing products.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Research, design, and implement deep learning models for depth estimation, object detection, scene understanding, and semantic segmentation.
  • Develop and deploy efficient edge AI models that can run on constrained hardware environments.
  • Integrate AI-driven actionable insights into 3D representations to enhance decision-making processes.
  • Optimize neural networks for real-time processing, balancing accuracy and computational efficiency.
  • Collaborate with software engineers and researchers to refine and deploy AI models within the Terramind FX system.
  • Ensure top-notch product quality through rigorous code standards and CI/CD methodologies.
  • Stay updated with the latest advancements in deep learning, computer vision, and edge AI.

Required Qualifications:

  • Master’s or PhD in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, AI, or a related field.
  • Strong background in deep learning, computer vision, and real-time AI processing.
  • Proficiency in deep learning frameworks such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, or ONNX.
  • Expertise in edge AI optimization, including model quantization, pruning, and hardware acceleration.
  • Solid programming skills in Python and C++, with experience in OpenCV.
  • Experience deploying AI models on embedded devices or GPU-accelerated platforms.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work in an interdisciplinary team.

Preferred Qualifications (nice to have):

  • Experience with 3D reconstruction techniques, including Visual SLAM, depth estimation, and multi-view geometry.
  • Experience with robotics, AR/VR, or autonomous systems.
  • Knowledge of sensor fusion techniques.
  • Familiarity with real-time streaming architectures.
  • Understanding of reinforcement learning or self-supervised learning techniques.
